Terms of Use

Effective as of: 12 October 2026.

These Terms of Use govern the use of the game Manteiguinha e as Pipoquinhas ("the game"), available for Android and iOS. The game is offered by Jeferson Cruz, an individual ("we", "us"). Contact: contato@manteiguinha.com.br. By installing, accessing or playing the game, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the game. Changes to these Terms follow section 13.

2. What the game is

The game is free to play and does not require creating an account. In the Android and iOS apps, it may automatically recognize your game account (Google Play Games or Game Center) to keep your progress, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

The game includes ads served by Google AdMob, always non-personalized. Rewarded ads are optional: you choose to watch them in exchange for an in-game reward. In the apps, there is also an ad between levels, when you complete levels 5, 10, 15 and so on for the first time (replaying a level you already completed shows no ad). The Popcorn Pass, an optional in-app purchase processed by your device's app store, removes the ad between levels. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Age rating and age. The game is meant for players aged 13 and over. The official age rating appears on the game's page in each store. The game has no loot box (items or random advantages obtained by paying). If the store tells the game that the player is under 18, usage analytics is turned off (Privacy Policy, section 9).

3. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the game on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes only. The game remains our property: you acquire no right in its code, art, sound or any other element beyond the use licensed here.

4. Virtual currency (popcorn bits)

"Pipoquinhas" are an internal virtual currency of the game, used to unlock cosmetic items and conveniences inside the game itself. Pipoquinhas:

have no monetary value in the real world;
cannot be exchanged for money, transferred between accounts or devices outside the game's own mechanisms, or redeemed outside the game;
are not refundable, except where applicable law or the app store policy (Google Play / App Store) requires a refund of the purchase that gave rise to them.

5. Purchases

Every in-game purchase (including the Popcorn Pass) is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We do not receive or store your card or payment details.

Right of withdrawal and refunds. You have a 7-day right of withdrawal, counted from the purchase, under the law (art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code). Because the purchase is made in the store, the main way is to ask the store itself for a refund, under its rules. You can also exercise withdrawal by email at contato@manteiguinha.com.br, within the 7 days: we confirm receipt right away, by email, and forward the request to the store; if the store refuses, we review the case. We have no access to process refunds directly in the store.

You can restore a purchase with the store's restore button, using the same store account. After you delete your data in the game, the benefit is valid again through the store's restoration of the purchase.

6. Third-party ads

The game displays ads provided by third-party advertising networks (currently Google AdMob). We do not control the specific content of each ad shown by these networks. This does not remove the responsibility the law places on whoever offers the service.

7. Expected conduct

By using the game, you agree not to:

cheat, exploit bugs or use any external tool to gain an unfair advantage (for example, fraudulent popcorn bits, progress or Duel/Season results);
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to extract the game's source code, except where the law expressly allows it;
use the game for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes third-party rights.

Violations may lead to loss of progress, benefits or access to the game, in proportion to their severity. If you think the measure was unfair, you can contest it by email at contato@manteiguinha.com.br and we will review the case.

8. Intellectual property

The game, including its name, characters, art, music, code and other elements, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, and belongs to Jeferson Cruz. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the game available, but it is offered as it is and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Duel and Season depend on servers and may be offline.

We may change features of the game, giving reasonable advance notice whenever the change affects what you use. No change takes away what you bought (the Popcorn Pass).

Shutting down the service. If we decide to shut down the servers, we will tell you in the game and on this page at least 90 days in advance. What runs on the device, such as the campaign, and an already activated Popcorn Pass keep working without the servers, as far as they do not depend on them; the modes that depend on a server (such as Duel, Season and the cloud save) stop working.

Where the game is offered. The game is offered in almost the whole world, except in the European Union and the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, mainland China and Japan. If you are in those places, you should not use the game.

10. Liability

The game is offered as it is, and parts that depend on a server, such as Duel and Season, may be interrupted (section 9). We do not control the content of third-party ads (section 6). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that the law guarantees to the consumer, including the right to compensation for damages under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.

11. Privacy

The processing of personal data in the game is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. For consumers domiciled in Brazil, the court is that of the consumer's domicile, in accordance with the CDC. For people who live outside Brazil, the law and the court that apply in the consumer's country of residence govern, where local law so requires; in all other cases, Brazilian law applies. We do not use mandatory arbitration.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we update the effective date at the top of this page and, if the change is significant, we tell you in the game with reasonable advance notice, before it takes effect. Changes do not take away what you have already bought. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the game.
